Life in Motala

Last week my new book came from the printers. I am so glad that part of the slow process is over. Now I will have to see if anyone wants to read it! You can read more about it here (in Swedish)

Here is a picture of my office. I have a great view - to the right I can watch football (soccer) games on the artifical field used year round, and to the left is the grass football field with track. The trees in the background line the canal, and behind them you can glimpse the waters of the river than runs between lakes Vättern and Boren, a river too swift and steep for boats, which is why they built the canal.

My new bosses have been very nice and invested in an ergonomic desk for me, it goes up and down so I can stand or sit and work. I have also been testing a range of ergonomic chairs and right now I am testing this one, which is my favourite so far. You sit on top of a ball with a comfortable seat. An inflated ring at the bottom makes the chair safe so you can lean anyway you like. It is really cool! And very wobbly.

One year old today! He has a great life. When I work and Ingrid is at school he goes to an old lady’s house, where he has a dog friend and gets to play around all day. Here are pictures from an outing on his birthday, a tipspromenad (a quiz walk, very popular in Sweden), together with a friend from work and her dog. Spring is here at last, it was a beautiful day!
