see us live

April 30, 2008

We got a new camera a few days ago and this is Ingrid’s first video. Watch it here

Ingrid has really enjoyed taking pictures, here are some of them:

Easter things (we haven’t put them away yet!)
We spent the afternoon yesterday at our allotment, Ingrid took pictures of roaming pheasants
 and worked on her corner

Sprats for breakfast

April 29, 2008

I eat a paleo diet most of the time and one of the big questions on that diet is What do you eat for breakfast?

Today I ate a couple of boiled eggs and some sprattus sprattus (English: Sprat, Brisling, Garvie, Garvock, Whitebait) one of the fishes on WWF:s green list. In Swedish it is called skarpsill because of its sharp taste.

Ingrid met Amy Diamond!

April 28, 2008

Check out the paper! I was there!

Today’s newspaper had an article about Amy Diamond visiting Motala last Saturday. Ingrid was there, saw her concert and got her autograph. She was thrilled!

Amy Diamond is half-Swedish, half-English, just turned 16 and is one of Sweden’s biggest popstars. We listen to her latest album a lot!

Cecilia gives Amy extra points for always wearing flat shoes.
